Harapan Jaya Sentosa (HJS) as the forerunner of Panbil Group was founded by Johanes Kennedy and Mahdian in 1989, then began to expand in the Developer sector, by opening the Regency Park Commercial Area – Pelita Batam.

In line with the rapid development of Batam as an economic center in the western region of Indonesia, in 2001 Panbil Group began to open an Integrated Business Zone covering an area of ​​200 ha in Muka Kuning – Batam. This area consists of an Industrial Park, a Commercial Area, and one of the pioneers of high end housing in Batam. , Villa Panbil, which was later completed with the construction of Hotels and Apartments.
